Super Capes for Super Kids!

Warning- shameless self-promotion ahead!
So I am officially selling my super capes online! I got a store on http://www.etsy.com/. This site, for those of you not familiar with it, is a place to buy and sell handmade things. It's HUGE, with artisans of every medium from wood to fabric, to recycled things. It's a great place to look for unique gifts.

Here's a link to my store there: http://www.panjo.etsy.com/. Panjo- Super Capes for Super Kids. I set it up about a week ago and have made one sale, to a lady I know from MDC who makes awesome Mei Tais. The thing with Etsy is that it's so huge, you really have to do a lot of promotion. People won't find my capes unless they are looking for capes. It won't come up in searches for "unique children's gift" unless I continue to add a new item everyday. I'm working on that! I'm also working on buying the domain for PanjoKids so I can at least have a regular website that links to the Etsy one.

Anyhow, this morning I woke up to a nice email from another Etsy user, GwynnsGifts. She got what's called a Treasury, meaning she was chosen to put together a page of her favorite items and it gets featured for 2 days on a main link. She picked one of my capes as a favorite spring item! You can view the treasury here. She has some pretty cute items picked.

So, pass on the link to my Etsy page if you know someone who might be looking for a fun gift for their kid. I mean, St. Patricks Day is right around the corner, or perhaps a belated Presidents Day gift?

On the home front, we've been going for walks to the park lately, after Ron gets done with work. It's been a nice break in the day, time to enjoy the nice weather we've had lately. Here are some pictures of Max at the park.
And last week at an MDC playgroup, Max in a sea of toys, and trying to hang with the older cool kids.
Ron had to go out of town for work for a few days, we miss him! Max has started to get really sad when people leave, or when we leave someplace fun. He cried when we left playgroup last week, and lunch with friends on Tuesday. Tuesday night he was so happy to hear from Ron on the phone, he was all smiles until we started saying "bye bye"... then he started to cry. Last night I had to work, so my parents came over and babysat. Here's what I came home to at 10:30...

We are so lucky!

Ellie and Ron, The pictures look wonderful. It's great that the weather has been good for you to take Max to the park. We can hardly wait to see everyone in March. Love Mom

Congrats on the store! I found out just before we went to the hospital (the 12th or 13th of Feb) that I have been taking the lowest resolution photos that the camera is capable of... I thought I was taking the highest. Doh! I'll take some new ones of The Biscuit in his cape tomorrow when the sun is shining. Look for an email with attachments from my google account!
